Work for the money, work to kill time, work to run away from reality. No one will understand that.
Every single day it gets tougher because I get even more tired at the end of each day. Unreasonable customers are always around so it's still bearable. But to customers who treat you like dogs, two words for you: F off.
I'm not someone who keeps quiet when people tries to be funny. Whenever I meet customers like that, it takes me alot of willpower to resist that urge to rebut them. "Wait la!" This 2 words are constantly on the verge of coming out. Sometimes when I'm holding 3 bowls of hot soup or more on a tray and the customer tells me order, I really want to ask them to hold the tray for me so that I take their royal orders. Of course there are super nice customers who will make up for all these rubbish people. Work friends are fine too except for a woman whose mouth can never stop talking. A week ago she tried to pull me into her work politics. Bitch please. I came here to earn money/to escape from chaos at home and you want to create more chaos for me. Leave me out of all these politics because I really have no interest in them.
Apparently when you go into the working world there are much worse politics than that. Now I totally understand why people wants to be tai-tai(s). Witnessing the ugly sides/two faced sides of humans always make me doubt if there is any humanity left in them.
