Day 3
White water rafting + ATV
Our driver picked us up from the apartment and we actually went out of Phuket.
Visited the monkey temple and then it was ATV time!!!
ATV was really different from what i thought.
The trails were really challenging.
Steep, muddy, rocky trails.
There were times i crashed into the bushes and couldn't get out but i really enjoyed myself.
Till the extend even though my shoulder really hurt during the ride, i continued playing it.
Loo commented i rode the ATV like a guy. Is it a good or bad thing hahaha
I've always wanted to ride a motorbike and i guess that's the nearest i could get for now.
And then it was white water rafting time!
I really looked forward to it but it was quite disappointing even though i had fun.
I wasn't allowed to paddle at all and the rafting distance was quite short.
Bali's wwr was much better!!
Had seafood for dinner that day and we got cheated LOL.
The food was good but the price was almost like sg's price.
Played card games + the guys drank their beer till late.
That night, i found out my grandfather had kidney failure and he refused to go for dialysis.
I felt like a part of my world had crashed.
Day 4
Island hopping!
The waves in sg and there was totally different!
It was much much much choppier and bigger than sg's.
We couldn't go to Maya bay due to the sea state :(
I love choppy waters.
Someday i want to explore the world's seas and oceans.
Went to different islands, snorkeled and played with fishes.
Even though i spammed sunblock, i got a shade darker after that.
That didn't mean much to me back in the sailing days, but now, i don't want to get any darker!!!
Really love the sea and wind, not really the sun though.
Had seafood for dinner again this time the food was cheap and good hehehe.
We became smarter after roaming in the streets of Phuket for awhile but too bad it was the second last day.
Spent the night watching world cup with es while the 3 of them went out.
Day 5
shop + flight home
Spent our remaining money and went back to our apartment at 6 for our driver to send us to the airport
The plane wasn't filled and we were given the back seats.
So we had one whole row of seats to ourself hehe :)
Blogging about this Phuket trip brings back so much memories.
I feel happy and sad at the same time.
Happy that i made many good memories, at the same time, i'm sad it ended.
Thankful for es, jq, loo and ja who accommodated my nonsense and are ever so easy going.
All good things will end eventually and the better the things are, the faster it ends.
Looking forward to the next trip.
I wanna go back to Boracay!!!!!
