First post in 2014.
Ever since i came back from Boracay, life's been quite busy. I either work or spend time with friends and es.
Although it is rather late, i want to write about 2013. A year which changed many things (mostly for the better), taught me many things and allowed me to use those lessons i learnt in 2012.
I'm so so so thankful i didn't lose anyone (in terms of not being able to see them ever again) in 2013.
Truth is, i haven't gotten over losing those 2 important people to me in 2012, and i don't think i will in the near future.
But that doesn't mean i wallow in sadness every single day.
I still do occasionally. But even if i do, there is always precious people by my side to cheer me up and remind me that i have them and i should cherish what i have now even more. And that's my source of motivation and reminder to cherish and be happy every day :)
In 2013, my relationship with es became so much better. We understood one another better, learn to give and take better (although now i think es give more thn he takes now, his turn la! hahaha) and accepted one another flaws better. Es now even know when i will rage before i even rage(my rage last for that moment only) LOL! And sometimes when i get upset with es he knows how to deal with it and make me happy again instead of raging back at me. I give him lots and lots of credit to that hehe. That being said i also give in to him and take in his rages ok!!! Although we couldn't countdown to this year together, i'm sure there will be other countdowns together in future. Afterall, 2014 is ORD year!!! :D I know this 2 months before ORD its gonna be really crazy and busy and we probably won't be able to meet up as much. But we've been though, and got through this before, and i'm sure this time it will be the same too :) 56 days to ORD!!!
Hcc, i just want to let you know, i appreciate every single thing you've done for me and i'm so thankful for you every single day. Glad our relationship got stronger over the years. I love you to the moon and back❤❤❤
In 2013, although we were no longer in the same class i'm thankful i still had Quekky and Lynnie in my life. They were always there for me. Always. Hearing my never ending rants, giving me advices, gossiping, shopping, encouraging me, cheering me up and so many more things we do when we are together. Sometimes i feel i don't deserve their kindness but they always give nonetheless. I cannot be more thankful for having them in my life❤
In 2013, i'm thankful for still having Savannah in my life. A friend i've known since i was in primary school thru sailing. Even though we don't always meet up, i'm glad we met up before the year ended. Everytime just before we meet i always worry that it maybe awkward because we haven't meet up in awhile. But the moment we meet, all those worries seems stupid cause when we are together there will be never ending things to talk about and that's for sure!❤
In 2013, i made new friends, es's friends especially. In the past, there are times i joined their outing with es cause he wanted to spend time with his friends too. But truth is i hated it quite abit because i always felt awkward around them. But as i got to know them better, i realized they are quite nice and after awhile i found it comfortable to be my retarded self when i'm with them and they felt comfortable too i guess. When es is away cause of sailing/duty, they ask me out when i'm bored and when they found out es will be away during new year eve, they asked me along for their countdown. The bunch of them are really funny - their trollings and jokes, i always end up laughing even when i'm annoyed at times(the other time i injured my knee, they made me walk around 3 malls before they settled for their macs and i was quite annoyed cause the first mall alr had macs :( but at the end of the day i still couldn't get angry hahaha ) Really thankful i got to know the bunch of them :)
In 2013, i'm thankful for all my friends - work friends(jk, zw, hm esp) to school friends who made work/school a little more fun and enjoyable. Thankful for friends from secondary school who despite seldom meeting, we remained in contact thru various ways nonetheless. Thankful for my running buddy alex koh hahaha xxn! :)
And last but not least, i'm thankful for my family, grandparents and cousins. 2012 was a wake up call to especially cherish them more and i'm thankful i still have the chance and time to do so. I really really really appreciate and love them so much❤❤❤
Created countless happy memories in 2013 and i look forward to creating even more happy memories with my love ones this year! :)
